This is an amazing looking film directed by my friend Simon Savory, with my friend Jeff Dylan Graham acting in it and Cassandra Peterson aka Elvira (THE Elvira, fucking Mistress of the Dark) also in it. This trailer makes me super proud to know such talented people and I can't wait to see the final product.

VHS fans...come up from your basement, you're not alone. Can't wait for this. US friends, take advantage of all the cool new underground VHS releases/re-releases, because the VHS revival doesn't seem to be picking up any steam here.

Ant-Man
Tonight I got to see the top secret Ant-Man teaser, and listen to Edgar Wright talk about it in person. It's actually really, really cool. Also got to see the fake 'Don't' trailer on the big screen, without having to sit through my least favorite Tarantino film. I wish I could have begged him to turn it into a full length film!

Turns out I live in the same town as Ray
Harryhausen. I don't think he'd be too pleased if I randomly showed up
at his house, but I feel better knowing I live within an hour or so from
him.
